As an indigenous person, to create a successful clothing business that allows me to support the Australian indigenous community – through story telling that helps to educate others in our culture and country, to support fellow artists and by building a successful business be able to support the learning of our children living in remote areas who have little access to developing their literacy and IT skills.
I am an experienced business owner having always owned my own businesses - in fashion/clothing, corporate education, mentoring and coaching.
Bringing a new perspective to indigenous clothing brand. Working with different indigenous artists and photographers each season to create an interesting and captivating theme. Allowing customers to connect with and learn about indigenous culture through their interest in clothing.
Our tag line:
“Together we create”. Reinforcing that Ngali is all about collaboration, connection, togetherness. We create with what our country offers us, with our artists, with customers who create their own looks from our products, we create solutions to the challenges children face in remote areas, we create with our suppliers to create business best practice, we create with our fabric suppliers, our printers, our manufacturers. Together we create a successful social enterprise business that builds financial resources to make a positive difference.
As a ‘business for good’ every purchase of a Ngali product goes to helping Indigenous children living in remote areas of Australia access literacy and IT learning through our collaboration with B1G1.
