NAIDOC Week 2025: The Next Generation — Strength, Vision & Legacy
Sunday 6 July – Sunday 13 July 2025
Each year during NAIDOC Week, we pause to reflect, celebrate, and honour the strength and resilience of First Nations peoples. This year’s theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy,” calls us to look forward — to recognise the emerging voices, talents, and leadership that will shape the future of our communities and Country.
At Ngali, this theme holds deep personal meaning. As a First Nations brand, everything we do is guided by cultural values that extend beyond the present moment. We are building not just a fashion label, but a legacy — one that empowers the next generation with pride, possibility and purpose.
First Nations culture is rich with ancient wisdom, but it is also dynamic, evolving and alive through the energy of our young people. Across Country, we see emerging leaders stepping into their power — as artists, activists, knowledge-holders, and innovators.
This year’s NAIDOC theme reminds us that the future is not something we wait for — it’s something we shape, protect and invest in, together.
How You Can Support the Next Generation
This NAIDOC Week, we invite you to celebrate and support First Nations youth in tangible ways:
– Choose fashion and art that tells a deeper story and supports Indigenous creativity.
– Attend NAIDOC Week events, follow young First Nations leaders online, and engage with their stories.
– Support businesses and initiatives that directly benefit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
When you walk with us, you become part of a growing movement — one that is reshaping fashion, storytelling and culture with intention and care.
Let’s Honour the Legacy We’re Creating
NAIDOC Week is a celebration, but it’s also a responsibility — to show up, speak up, and lift up those who are forging a way forward. The next generation already carries incredible strength and vision. With the right support, their legacy will change the world.
From all of us at Ngali, we say thank you — for walking beside us, as we journey toward a future woven with respect, truth, and shared hope.
